Ghost 9

Architecture Summer Camp:

In two weeks, a group of 30 or so of us, led by Brian McKay-Lyons, designed and built this loafing barn. A loafing barn is an open air shelter for horses (in this case) to escape the weather and chow on some dry hay. The 24'x92'x22' double-rotated floating container thing is composed of 4 bays open to the hillside for the horses, and 2 bays of locked enclosed storage for tractor parking, entering from the service court of the greater Ghost site.
